Working Dog Equipment manufactures quality leather products to the highest
standards. These products are designed to give years of trouble free service.
Our manufacturing criteria is long life and comfort for both dog and handler.
The pre-treatment given to our leather ensures suppleness, and being a natural
material, also nourishes and protects the product. It also allows the leather to
work soften with future use without the usual cracking and splitting.
The equipment has been designed by professional dog handlers to efficiently and
effectively work their dogs.
It is designed to be durable, strong and practical and whether you purchase the
item for home or professional use, it will give excellent service.
Any
"Wetness" from pre-treatment will disappear within a few days of
use.
 Care
and Maintenance
These leather
products require very little maintenance when used under normal conditions and climate.
Should the
leather become wet, allow to dry naturally - do not artificially dry.
Treat with
the leather oil supplied as and when required (Twice per year under normal conditions or
more frequently if used repeatedly in adverse conditions).
Working
the leather (by hand) by rolling and gently twisting the product will soften
and add suppleness giving you a piece of equipment that is a pleasure to use.
(Do not strike, hammer or beat the leather with any hard object including a
meat tenderising mallet).
Harnesses are
also available. These items are made to order and require personal fitting to your
