The traditional approach to fax-to-email services has always been to install proprietary software on your own switchboard connected to a server that will allow you to receive a fax though your switchboard that in turn will convert it to an e-mail and forward it through your server to the address you have allocated.
To be able to run this service you need to spend money on capital equipment, software and additional telephone lines.
We have turned this model upside down and designed a service that works quicker, more efficiently and have additional benefits. 082FAX2EMAIL is designed to utilize all the advantages of the cellular networks. We allocate you a 082 number as a fax number and link that to the e-mail address of your choice. This address can be changed should you change service provider or change personnel. This is done for a once off set-up fee and you never pay for the service again. There is no limitation to the number of faxes you may receive or any transactional or monthly fees.
The service has the following advantages.
For the person sending the fax:
Being sent through a digital platform, the fax is sent through 15 to 20% quicker than a normal fax. The calls are at standard rates - NO PREMIUM RATES as similar service on the market. The service cannot be engaged as it can handle multiple calls at exactly the same time, therefore your client does not have to try and try again to get through to your fax number. The client knows the fax is sent directly to the person he/she needs to contact.
For the person receiving the fax:
Increased service levels as the fax is sent directly to the person who needs to take action. Saves money on printing and paper, as not all faxes need to be printed. Unwanted faxes can be deleted, others forwarded or saved electronically. Much more efficient handling of incoming faxes, no papers that needs to be distributed. Confidential documents more secure - only for the eyes of the person who has access to the e-mail account. Faxes more accessible from laptop or other locations.
