Tennis
The Barrydale Tennis Club was started in 1930 and is still one of the most active clubs in Barrydale. The Tennis Club forms part of the greater Barrydale Recreational Club which includes Bowls and Jukskei. The Tennis courts are placed with a view of the surrounding mountains of Barrydale. The Club has many good players, one of which won the World Veteran Championships in 2000. If one wants to catch come fresh air and stoke a couple of balls then the Tennis Club is the place to go.
