Matsoso showed a keen interest
in art from an early age.

His first solo exhibition was presented
at the Goodman Gallery in Johannesburg.

His work depicts tribal rituals,
African legends, myths and mythological animals as well as scenes from
urban life.

His work is well represented all
over the world and in collections in South Africa.

Sibeko, self-taught, started drawing
at the age of twelve. His brother, Walter Sibeko and the artist David Mbele
encouraged him and created opportunities for him to become a full-time
artist.

Sibeko portrays township life in
Soweto in oils on sand, a mixed medium which he has developed with great
success.

He also works in pastels, water-colours,
charcoal, oils and pencil.

His work is well represented in
collections all over South Africa.
