"Where is that?"....

.... I hear you ask.

Cradled in the arms of the "Genadenberg" (Grace Mountains). Philippolis is the oldest settlement in the Free State province of South Africa, and lies midway (well almost) between Johannesburg and Cape Town just off the N1 Highway. The central point in South Africa, so it is rumoured, is pinpointed to a pigsty just outside the town, making Philippolis the halfway point to anywhere in South Africa
