Three reasons why South Africa will also fall victim to a major
terrorist attack:

Spain has firmly backed George W. Bush’s deeply unpopular war in Iraq, and paid a costly price for it. Now that it’s common knowledge
that Islamic terrorists are to blame for the 10 horrific blasts that killed 202 people in Madrid on March 11, 2004 (Spain’s so-called 3/11), the question on
everybody’s mind is: “After Madrid, who’ll be next?”
With the help of ancient prophecies we shall present to you evidence which
indicate that the fate of America and South Africa is linked. For that reason, and in the light of current developments, we believe South Africa will also
fall victim to a major terrorist attack in the near future. Following, three reasons why we anticipate such an attack within the next 24 months:
There is evidence that behind the scenes, South Africa, the country with the best-developed air force
and air service in Southern Africa, is sturdily supporting America in its war on terror.
Remember, South Africa, whose biblical codename is “land of whirring wings … beyond the rivers of Ethiopia,” was the first country after the United States of America to implement biometric technology
(fingerprinting and photographing travellers) at Cape Town International Airport:

South Africa to America without visas are to be subjected to these new security measures. Many believe Cape Town was decided on first because it is the city
with the largest Moslem population in South Africa."
More proof of South Africa’s behind-the-scenes support for America in its war on terror, is to be
found in the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA), passed by parliament recently:
“The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) obliges all South
African Banks, as financial institutions bound by this Act, to know their customers. This means that all banks are required to ask their customers to confirm
their particulars, as well as to identify various parties related to that business, as held with the bank.”
We believe the third reason is encrypted in biblical prophecies dating back over 2600 years! To
understand this, it is important to know that it is not uncommon for prophecies in the Tanakh (Old Covenant Scriptures) to have a historical, as well as an
eschatological (end-time) application.
It is our belief that the following prophecy falls in this category:
“Woe, land of whirring wings that is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia; that sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of reed upon
the waters, `saying', Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people terrible from their beginning onward, a nation measured [Heb:
kav-kav], and that treads down, whose land the rivers divide!”

Version have been consulted.
Regarding
Isaiah 18, Matthew Henry made the following comment: “This chapter is one of the most obscure in Scripture”

The
prophecy may be obscure as far as its historical application is concerned, but regarding its eschatological
application it’s another matter. Below, our interpretation of the words ‘a
nation measured’,
in an eschatological context:
‘ghoy kav-kav’ (‘a
nation measured’): Could this denote the American citizens as they are systematically being profiled,
put under surveillance, tracked, catalogued, and their biometric information filed and mapped with increasing detail? We believe so.
What a few lexicons have to say concerning the Hebrew word ‘kav’:
Zevi Scharfstein’s New Comprehensive Shilo Pocket Dictionary: Kav (line, measuring
line, rule, ray, line of action).
Langenscheidt’s Pocket Hebrew Dictionary of the Old Testament: Kav (line,
measuring-line, chord, string, rule, norm, order).
Strong’s Dictionary: Kav (#6957: a chord [as connecting]; espec. for measuring).
A few more questions to consider:
Why would South Africa, the country with the best-developed air force and air service beyond the rivers of
Ethiopia, send ambassadors to America, and why by sea? Has a major terrorist attack been perpetrated on South African soil? Have its airports been targeted by
Islamic extremists, and have they for that reason been shut down?
Why must the ‘swift messengers’ depart in ‘vessels of reed’? Is this a Hebrew idiom depicting the utter
desperation on the one hand, and total futility on the other of soliciting America’s help?
It is not difficult to see that the rest of Is.18:2 is referring to the
wealthiest and mightiest nation in the history of this planet, which can only be America, at its apex:

‘A nation tall and smooth’ –
a superpower, an affluent people.

‘A nation terrible’ – America
is the only country to have dropped atomic bombs on another.

‘that treads down’ – invades
other countries with overwhelming power.
|
| ‘whose land is divided by rivers’
– Some of the world’s largest rivers flow through America.

Another ancient prophecy
concerning South Africa that we must bear in mind:
“From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, My worshippers, the daughter of My scattered ones, shall bring My offering”
(Zeph. 3:10).
We believe the ‘secret place of the Most High’ (Ps. 91:1; Rev.12:6, 14) will be situated at a remote location
in South Africa. At this remote, secret place of safety the saints of the Almighty, now dispersed throughout the world, will be hidden for the duration of the
great tribulation. Based on the verses below, however, there are people who believe a window of opportunity will be opened for pious, peace loving and
believing Jews to flee Israel shortly before war engulfs the Middle East. These Jews will then seek refuge in neighboring Jordan. We have no reason to
disagree with people adhering to this belief, as these prophecies might just as well have an end-time (eschatological) application.
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation is near. And let those in Judea flee to
the mountains. Let those who are in the midst of her depart; and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that all
things which are written may be fulfilled” (Luke 21:20-22).
“Take counsel, execute judgment; make your shadow like the night in
the middle of the day; hide the outcasts; do not betray him who escapes. Let my outcasts dwell with you, O Moab; be a shelter to them from the face of the
spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, devastation ceases, the oppressors are consumed out of the land” (Isaiah 16:3-5).
