Digestion Remedy

COMPOSITION:   Per Tablet
  Aspidium filix-mas, Folium 8 mg
  Polypodium, Folium 2 mg
  Pteridium aquilinum, Folium 8 mg
  Salix alba, Folium 4 mg
  Salix purpurea, Folium 4 mg
  Salix viminalis, Folium 8 mg
  Salix vitellina, Folium 4 mg
  Scolopendrium, Folium 2 mg

INDICATIONS:
  1) Indigestion
  2) Heartburn
  3) Flatulence, abnormal fermentation, cramps.
  4) Constipation
  5) Hyper-and hypo-acidity
  6) Aids in regeneration of intestinal flora
  Digestodoron regulates the digestive system by promoting regular peristalsis. 

MODE OF ACTION:
Aspidium, Polypodium, Pteridium & Scolopendrium: increase the necessary devitalising forces and stimulates the contractive phase of peristalsis.
Salix Alba/
Salix Purpurea/
Salix Viminalis/
Salix vitellina:
support the fluid and dilation phase, and vitality of microbial activity.
  Digestodoron has a harmonising effect on these intestinal activities without introducing constipation or laxative effects.
         
DOSAGE: Unless otherwise directed,
2-4 tablets to be chewed three times daily, preferably 15 minutes before meals, for up to 8 weeks, and then repeat after a two week pause.
         
COMMENT: Digestodoron is a more long-term remedy for the above indications. It harmonises the whole digestive process. For acute digestive problems use Amara Drops (Weleda) or Carbo Betulae comp. tablets (Weleda).
