| 1) | A cardiac remedy which has a regulating effect on the cardiovascular (heart and circulatory) activity. | |
| 2) | Predisposition to poor circulation, especially in young people. | |
| 3) | Fluctuations in the pulse/breath ratio. | |
| 4) | Cardiac neurosis. |
| Primula Off: | supports the anabolism in the heart through its sulfuric nature and is a mild cardiac stimulant. |
| Onopordon: | stimulates the catabolic processes in the heart and the concurrent formative forces. |
| Hyoscyamus: | regulates the interaction between the two and as such works on the rhythmic aspect of the heart function. |
| DOSAGE | 5 - 15 drops to be taken in a little water three times daily about 10 minutes before meals, unless otherwise directed. In acute cases, up to every quarter of an hour, unless otherwise prescribed. |
| COMMENT: | Many cardiac problems stem from insufficient coordination between the heart and the circulation or they may be of a nervous origin. In both cases Cardiodoron has a regularising and regenerating effect. Cardiodoron is a remedy which is composed entirely of medicinal plants and contains no tranquillising or stimulating additives. Crataegus comp (U3583) may also be used. The preparation regulates the heart activity between contraction and dilatation. i.e. between catabolism and anabolism. |
