BIRCH ELIXIR

Cleansing Tonic

COMPOSITION:		Per 100 g
	Betula. Folium	10g

INDICATIONS:

	1)	Supportive therapy for gout, rheumatism, sclerosis, hardening of the arteries and diminishing of the senses (eg hearing).
	2)	Prophylactically to retard the ageing processes.
	3)	Lack of vitality and alertness.
	4)	Excessive tiredness, failing memory.

MODE OF ACTION:

Betula Foli:	enlivens and refreshes the whole system and assists in the excretion of acid and salt-like waste products by stimulating fluid circulation. Birch Elixir is prepared from a concentrated salt-free extract of young birch leaves (Betula Foli.) lemon juice, and sugar, and can be taken throughout the year. This specially prepared extract is put through a warmth process and is designed to help the metabolic system excrete salt like deposits and uric acid. Excessive mental and bodily exertion can lead to premature hardening tendencies. resulting in the formation of deposits in the system. If these hardening tendencies are not counter-acted, excessive tiredness, failing memory and a slowing down of the circulatory system may occur which manifests in sclerotic complaints.
DOSAGE:	Unless otherwise directed, One to two 5 mL medicine measures three times daily in any liquid.
COMMENT:	Birch Elixir is particularly effective when taken in Spring. It is recommended to start with a 6-8 week course and repeat this twice yearly.
