COMPOSITION:
Each 15 mL contains:

Pectin		0,176 g
Light Kaolin		8,428 g

Preservatives:

Sodium methylparaben		0,2% m/v
Sodium propylparaben		0,1%m/v

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 11.9 Antidiarrhoeals

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Kaolin and Pectin have adsorbant properties.

INDICATIONS:
As adjunct to rest, fluids and appropriate diet in the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately acute diarrhoea.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Intestinal obstruction.

WARNINGS:
The absorption of other agents from the gastro-intestinal tract can be reduced if administered concomitantly.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults and children 12 years and older:
2 medicine measures (10 mL), every 6 hours.
If the symptoms persist for longer than 48 hours, or the condition of the patient deteriorates, the product must be discontinued, and a doctor consulted.
In the treatment of diarrhoea it is important that hydration be maintained by administering adequate fluids and electrolytes.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Constipation may occur.

See side-affects and special precautions. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

Pale beige suspension.

PRESENTATION:
150 mL amber bottle with a black plastic screw cap.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, and away from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
