PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: Geratar provides Vitamins A, E and B6 whose prophylactic and healing properties in the treatment of arteriosclerosis seem to be well-established, together with the prolonged and gentle vasodilating action of Meso-Inositol Hexanicotinate. Added to this are the tranquillizing and antidysrhythmic properties of Aterax and the excellent antivertigo action of Meclozine. It is intended mainly for the whole range of vascular disorders associated with ageing.
INDICATIONS: Cerebral arteriosclerosis, vertigo, nocturnal cramps in the legs.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS: None in recommended dosage.
WARNINGS This medicine may lead to drowsiness and impaired concentration, which may be aggravated by simultaneous intake of alcohol or other central nervous system depressant agents.
Do not exceed the recommended dose, as this may cause vitamin toxicity.
Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 1 - 2 tablets before retiring.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Sedation can be observed in certain patients during the first few days at the commencement of the treatment; this tendency decreases or disappears within a few days.
