COMPOSITION:
Glycerin 6 g/100 g with methylparaben 0,06% m/m and propylparaben 0,01% m/m as preservatives.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 13.5. Emollients and protectives.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Glycerin has emollient properties.
INDICATIONS:
To be used as a lubricant.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Sensitivity to glycerin.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Use the point of the cap to puncture the Regard Lubricating Jelly tube. Regard Lubricating Jelly is applied to gloves or instruments so that sufficient jelly is available to form a film over the contact area with the patient. Wash Regard Lubricating Jelly off after use.
SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
If the container is opened or damaged sterility is not guaranteed.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
In the case of accidental ingestion treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
IDENTIFICATION:
Translucent, colourless to light amber jelly free from particles, foreign matter and over-aeration.
PRESENTATION:
Tubes containing 50 g and 100 g. Sachets containing 2,5 g and 5 g.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25°C in a dry place.
