PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION: A 14.2 Wound dressings.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: A non-adherent, non-coagulating dressing which allows good ventilation of the wound site, permits exudate to escape and is easily removed without damage to newly-formed epithelium. Jelonet dressings are non-medicated and may therefore be used with or without any antiseptic or antibiotic of choice.
INDICATIONS:
1.
As a dressing for skin grafts, burns, compound fractures, leg ulcers and all open wounds.
2.
To protect the skin surrounding wounds.
3.
For the prevention of secondary dermatitis caused by irritating discharges.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS: None.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Jelonet dressings are made sterile by exposure to gamma irradiation, and remain sterile provided that the peel pouch is intact. Dressings should not be used if the peel pouch is damaged. It is recommended that the dressing be applied in a single layer only.
PRESENTATION: Each Jelonet dressing is enclosed between two leaves of paper and is individually packed in a sealed, peelable pouch.

Jelonet tulle gras dressing-low mass-100 mm x 100 mm, 10 sterile dressings per pack (Code 0608. J9).
Jelonet tulle gras dressing-low mass-100 mm x 400 mm, 10 sterile dressings per pack (Code 0634. J10).
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store flat in a cool place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
