COMPOSITION:
Each gram of INFRARUB* contains:
Methyl Nicotinate 0,010 g
Histamine Dihydrochloride 0,001 g
Glycol Monosalicylate 0,100 g
Capsicum Oleoresin 0,001 g
PRESERVATIVES:
Methyl paraben 0,032% m/m
Propyl paraben 0,120% m/m
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.13.6 Rubefacients.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
The ingredients in INFRARUB* assist the natural healing process by penetrating the skin at the site of the affected area and dilating the blood vessels thus improving the blood circulation and relieving the pain.
INDICATIONS:
INFRARUB* is recommended for the relief of rheumatism, sciatica, lumbago, fibrositis, neuritis, backache, tired aching muscles, strains and cramp.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
INFRARUB* should not be used on broken or sensitive skins.
WARNINGS:
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Massage or gently smooth INFRARUB* into the area of pain. If the condition is too painful for rubbing, INFRARUB* should be smoothed into the skin with the fingertips. Do not bandage. Repeat application as often as necessary.
SIDE-EFFECTS & SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
When used as directed, side-effects are rarely encountered. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, nostrils, or other sensitive areas. Wherever muscular or joint pain is prolonged or is associated with a rise in temperature you should consult a doctor. On very sensitive skins an itchy rash may develop but should disappear quickly. If rash re-appears discontinue use of the cream.

INFRARUB* Ointment is a pale pink ointment with a faint lavender odour.
PRESENTATION:
INFRARUB* Ointment is available in 30 g and 75 g tubes.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
INFRARUB* Ointment should be stored in a cool place (below 25 °C) and the cap should always be properly replaced.
