PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A.13.8 Keratolytic.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
FREEZONE contains Salicylic Acid, a keratolytic which penetrates corns and calluses painlessly, layer by layer, loosening and softening the corn or callous so that the whole corn or callous can be lifted off or peeled away in just a few days.

INDICATIONS:
FREEZONE is for application to the skin for the removal of corns and calluses without dangerous cutting and without ugly pads or plasters.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
FREEZONE should not be applied if the toe is infected. Do not use on irritated skin or on any area that is infected or reddened.

WARNINGS:
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
Diabetics and persons with impaired circulation should not use this product without first consulting their doctor. Do not use this product on soft corns (usually occurring between toes). If infection or inflammation occurs or if discomfort persists, stop using the product and consult your doctor.
Avoid inhaling vapours.
Highly flammable. Keep away from naked flames and avoid smoking during use and until product has dried.
If Freezone touches any healthy skin, wash off immediately with plenty of water. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth.
If Freezone gets into the eye, flush with water for 15 minutes.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Cleanse feet thoroughly with soap. Soak in warm water for 15 minutes. Dry feet thoroughly and then rub the corn very gently with a pumice stone to remove any dead skin. Circle corn or callous with a ring of petroleum jelly to protect surrounding skin. Apply Freezone one drop at a time using applicator to cover sufficiently each hard corn or callous only. Allow to dry. Cover the treated corn with a waterproof plaster. Repeat this procedure until the corn or callous is removed or partially removed to provide comfort. Do not use medication for more than 14 days.

NOTE:        Care should be taken to avoid contact of Freezone with skin surrounding corn and callous.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Salicylic Acid is a mild irritant and application of FREEZONE to the skin can cause dermatitis.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
Symptoms of acute systemic salicylate poisoning have been reported after prolonged use to large areas of the body.

IDENTIFICATION:
Freezone Corn Remover is a viscous clear orange-yellow liquid.

PRESENTATION:
FREEZONE is obtainable in easy to handle 6,5 mL containers each of which has a special applicator.

STORAGE DIRECTIONS:
Flammable - keep away from naked flames.
Store in a cool place (below 25 °C).
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
