COMPOSITION
Each 5 mL contains:
Sodium Citrate 200 mg
Citric Acid Hydrous 12,50 mg
Cetylpyridinium Chloride 125 mg
Aromatics 400 mg
Alcohol 4,75% v/v
Sodium Benzoate (added as preservative) 0,1%
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION
A 10.1 Antitussives and Expectorants.

INDICATIONS
Vicks Cough Syrup is indicated for use in coughs and in throat and bronchial irritations due to colds.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Children 2 to 5 years ½ medicine measureful (2,5 mL)
Children 5 to 12 years 1 medicine measureful (5 mL)
Adults 2 medicine measuresful (10 mL)
Repeat every 3 hours as needed.

SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Citric Acid ingested frequently, or in large quantities, may cause erosion of the teeth and have a local irritant action. Menthol may give rise to hypersensitive reactions, including contact dermatitis. Please contact a doctor if the symptoms persist.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT
Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

None.

IDENTIFICATION
Vicks Cough Syrup is a clear medicated syrup, red coloured and possessing a characteristic odour and flavour.

PRESENTATION
Bottles of 100 mL, and 150 mL.

STORAGE DIRECTIONS
Store below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
