COMPOSITION:
Each mL contains:
  Methyl Salicylate         31,319 mg
  Camphor         4,00 mg
  Oleoresin Capsicum         5,879 mg
  Oil of Turpentine         425,769 mg

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A: 13.7 Counter-irritants.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
When applied locally to the intact skin, Sloan's Liniment Rub has a rubefacient action.

INDICATIONS:
Symptomatic relief from pain and stiffness associated with rheumatism and muscle soreness.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Should not be applied to broken skin.
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

WARNING:
Contains CAMPHOR which may be harmful if swallowed.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply locally, gently massaging the affected area until the liniment has been absorbed. Do NOT rub or cover with a bandage. Treatment should be repeated two or three times a day. In the case of a sensitive skin, wipe off after half to one minute. If the warmth becomes too uncomfortable, wash off with soap and water.
Note: It is normal for the skin to redden as a result of the increased circulation to the area.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Urticaria, vesicular eruption and vomiting may occur.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY -
Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous tissue or broken skin. Take care to wash hands after using Sloan's Liniment Rub.
Note: Each person's skin has its own susceptibility to treatment. Where a large area of the body is affected, it is advisable to do a small test patch to check for sensitivity.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
In the case of accidental swallowing, the following symptoms may appear: dizziness, tinnitus, sweating, nausea and vomiting, mental confusion and hyperventilation. More serious signs of toxicity include epileptiform convulsions, CNS depression and coma.
Treatment:
Perform gastric lavage as soon as possible. Treatment is symptomatic.

IDENTIFICATION:
A clear reddish brown liquid.

PRESENTATION:
Bottles of 75 mL.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep in a cool (below 25°C), dry place away from fire or flame.
