COMPOSITION:
Each 5 mL contains:
                Guaifenesin         50,0 mg
  Alcohol         0,5% v/v
Preservatives: Sodium Benzoate         0,3% m/v
  Benzoic Acid         0,25% m/v

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A: 10.1 Antitussives and Expectorants.

INDICATIONS:
The alleviation of cough.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults:                Two 5 mL medicine measures every four hours.
Children: 5 –12 years: One 5 mL medicine measure every four hours.
        Under 5 years: Half a medicine measure (2,5 mL) every four hours.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Gastro-intestinal discomfort and drowsiness have been reported.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
Treatment of overdosage is symptomatic.
Large doses of Guaifenesin have a relaxant effect on skeletal muscle.

IDENTIFICATION:
A dark brown syrupy liquid with a pronounced honey and liquorice odour and taste.

PRESENTATION:
Bottles of 100 mL.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in a cool place (below 25°C). KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
