COMPOSITION:
Per 5 mL:
  Chlorobutanol                        31,5 mg
  Ether         467,0 mg
  Blackberry Root Powder         145,0 mg
  Ethyl alcohol 95%         53,2% v/v

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A: 11.2 Gastro-intestinal antispasmodics and cholinolytics (anti-cholinergics)

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
The combined pharmacological action of the active ingredients exerts a carminative action which relieves painful flatulence and soothes griping.

INDICATIONS:
For gastrointestinal discomfort from flatulence or distention with associated cramps or colic.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Contra-indicated in cases of liver, kidney and cardiovascular disorders.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Adults: One 5 mL medicine measure in ten medicine measures (50 mL) of water.
Children: 8 - 14 years: Half a medicine measure (2,5 mL) in five medicine measures (25 mL) of water.
  4 - 7 years: 15 drops in three medicine measures (15 mL) of water.
Infants: Two drops in half a medicine measure (2,5 mL) of water.
To be taken every four hours until symptoms are alleviated. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Nil in suggested dosage.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
In extreme overdosage the toxic effects may include vomiting and respiratory difficulties.
Treatment:
Patient should be kept warm and artificial respiration applied if necessary. Consult a doctor.

IDENTIFICATION:
A clear orange liquid.

PRESENTATION:
Bottles of 25 mL and 50 mL.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep cap tightly closed and store in cool place (below 25°C). KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
