COMPOSITION:
Each capsule contains:
(the most active forms of natural Vitamin E)
E 100 i.e.: d-alpha tocopheryl acetate 100 i.u.
E 500 i.e.: d-alpha tocopherol 500 i.u.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A:22.1.4 Vitamins. Other.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Vitamins are essential for normal growth and good health and generally cannot be made by the body. They are present in foods in minute amounts. However, illness, diet, drugs, cooking and modern food processing destroy these essential vitamins and then supplementation for nutritional support is required.
Natural Vitamin E is especially important today because it prevents oxygen from breaking down vital lipids and enzymes in the body into harmful free radicals which impair or destroy the healthy cell membranes.
Vitamin E, by this powerful anti-oxidant activity, retards the ageing processes, protects the lungs against air pollution, and improves fertility and vitality. Vitamin E helps prevent blood clot formation and reduces cholesterol in the blood stream
Externally, vitamin E acts as a natural antioxidant to promote healthy healing of damaged skin, healing of burns, clearing of scars, blemishes, chapped and dry skin, old age pigmentation and the prevention of stretch marks in pregnancy.
Vitamin E functions as a tissue antioxidant thereby keeping cells healthy. Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant which protects unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin A against oxidation in the body.

INDICATIONS:

1.	Heart conditions and circulatory disorders.
2.	Exhaustion, lack of physical endurance, energy and physical vigour.
3.	Air pollution.
4.	Infertility.
5.	Premature ageing and lack of vitality
6.	100 i u., 500 i.u.: Externally, for skin blemishes, scarred tissue, badly healing wounds and as a general skin tonic.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Persons with high blood pressure should consult their doctor before taking any high potency vitamin E products.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
One capsule to be taken once to three times daily preferably with meals.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Vitamin E is usually well tolerated. Large doses may cause diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and other gastro-intestinal disturbances, and have also been reported to cause fatigue and weakness. Contact dermatitis has occurred following topical application.
