This preparation is based on anthroposophical medical science(originated by Rudolph Steiner) and on the principles of homeopathy. It is designed to correct imbalances within the unhealthy body and so enables the organism itself to overcome the disease condition. The constituents in their indicated potentised form or strength work accordingly and have the following action.

Prunus Spinosa is a blood cleanser and tonic which has been known from the beginning of our era. It was already used by the old Germanen. Its sour berries, which are only harvested late in autumn, contain valuable ingredients, which, not only have a detoxifying but also strengthening effect on the body.

Prunus Spinosa belongs to the Rosaceae family, many of which are fruit-bearing and provide our staple fruit and the special characteristic of Prunus Spinosa is that it has thorns and very small berries. The thorns are an indication of the life forces which have been kept back. Hundreds of thousands of babies have been breast fed as a result of the good lactagogue properties of the Prunus Spinosa fruits.
