COMPOSITION:
Tablets containing 100 mg Thiamine hydrochloride.
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A 22.1.4 Vitamins other.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION :
Thiamine is fundamentally associated with carbohydrate metabolism. By combining with the pyrophosphoric acid in nucleated cells, it is converted in the body to the pyrophosphate which acts as a co-enzyme in such reactions as the decarboxylation of keto acids and glutarate. Thiamine pyrophosphate also acts as a co-enzyme in the direct oxidative pathway of glucose metabolism.
INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of beri-beri and prevention of Vitamin B1 deficiency.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
None.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Therapeutic: 25 mg to 100 mg daily.

None.

None, if used as directed.

White, bisected tablets. Diameter 10,32 mm.
PRESENTATION:
Packs of 100 tablets.
