INDICATIONS As a general tonic to increase energy when higher physical and mental output is desired, as for instance in:
–exhaustion states and fatigue
–in the period of adolescence with its difficulties
–chronic listlessness in the aged
–during convalescence after illness or surgery
CONTRA-INDICATIONS There are no known contra-indications to AKTIVANAD TABLETS.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE The usual dosage is two to four tablets three times a day.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS There are no known adverse reactions.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT Overdosage may cause restlessness, excitement, muscle tremor, tinnitis, scintillating scotoma, tachycardia and extrasystoles. Caffeine increases gastric secretion and may cause gastric ulceration.
Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS Store below 25°C in a dry place.
