COMPOSITION:
Each 10 mL contains:
Guaiphenesin 100 mg
Preserved with Sodium benzoate 0,10% m/v
PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A10.1 - Antitussives and Expectorants.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Guaiphenesin is an expectorant.
INDICATIONS:
Med-Lemon Cough Syrup is indicated for the alleviation of cough.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Med-Lemon Cough Syrup must be sipped and swallowed slowly. To be taken every two or three hours.
Adults:
Two 5 mL medicine measures.
Children:
2 - 12 years: One 5 mL medicine measure.
Infants less than 2 years: 10 drops.
Maximum recommended daily dose: 8 doses per day.
SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Drowsiness and gastro-intestinal discomfort may occur.
KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
Large doses have a skeletal muscle relaxant effect and overdosage may produce a feeling of lassitude. The stomach should be emptied by inducing vomiting and lavage. Consult your doctor.
IDENTIFICATION:
Clear yellow liquid with a lemon flavour and a strong menthol impact.
PRESENTATION:
100 mL bottles.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store below 25°C.
Keep out of reach of children.
