COMPOSITION:
Each 10 mL contains:
        Guaiphenesin        200 mg
        Ethyl alcohol        10,56% v/v
        Preserved with sodium benzoate        0,10% m/v

PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION:
A10.1 - Antitussives and expectorants

INDICATIONS:
The alleviation of cough.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Pregnancy and lactation.

WARNING:
Do not exceed the recommended dose.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
SHAKE THE BOTTLE WELL
ADULTS:
        5 mL to 10 mL every 2 to 4 hours.

CHILDREN:
        6 - 12 years: 2,5 mL to 5 mL every 2 to 4 hours.
        Under 6 years: Consult your doctor.
        Maximum recommended daily dose: 8 doses per day.

SIDE-EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Drowsiness, gastro-intestinal discomfort, nausea and vomiting may occur.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT:
In the event of an overdose, consult a doctor or take the patient to the nearest hospital immediately.
Symptoms of overdosage include nausea and vomiting.
Treatment is symptomatic and supportive.

IDENTIFICATION:
Orange emulsion which separates on standing.

PRESENTATION:
100 mL amber bottles.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in a cool (below 25°C) place, protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
