PHARMACOLOGICAL CLASSIFICATION: A 13.5 Emollients and protectives
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: The emollient properties of the ingredients act by softening keratotic skin.
INDICATIONS: Cream E45 because of its emollient action is a useful adjunct in the treatment of ichthyosis, traumatic dermatitis (especially "housewives dermatitis"), dry stage of eczema, certain cases of psoriasis and other conditions where a 'moisturising' type of cream is likely to be beneficial. It is excellent as supportive treatment in burns of varying degrees, particularly where joints are involved and movement is impaired by dryness and cracking.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT: None.
IDENTIFICATION: A smooth, white or practically white cream with not more than a slight odour.
PRESENTATION: Aluminium or plastic tubes containing 50 g cream and plastic tubes containing 125 g or 500 g cream.
