TOTALCARE™

For all hard and gas permeable contact lenses

The TotalCare™ system is is a simple and convenient way to care of hard and gas permeable contact lenses.
The TotalCare™ system allso increases comfort and maximises lens wearing time.

The TOTALCARE™ system consists of the following components:

•	TotalCare™ Daily Cleaner
•	TotalCare™ Disinfecting / Storing / Wetting Solution
•	TotalCare™ Protein Remover Tablets

Daily Care
Always wash and dry your hands thoroughly before handling your contact lenses.

Cleaning
Remove the left lens from you eye and place on the palm of your hand. Place 2-3 drops of TotalCare™ Daily Cleaner on each lens surface and rub for 15-20 seconds with your finger.
Rinse the lens thoroughly with TotalCare™ solution or sterile saline to remove all traces of cleaner.
Place the lens in the holder of the left cap (L) and close the lens case with this cap.
Fill the lens case with TotalCare ™ solution. Ensure that the lens case is completely filled to the top (refer to the diagram).
Repeat this procedure with the right contact lens.

Disinfecting
Allow your lenses to soak in TotalCare ™ solution for at least 6 hours (overnight) to ensure thorough disinfection. Store the lenses in the unopened lens case until ready to wear.

NOTE: Your lenses may be stored in the unopened lens case for a maximum of 30 days. If they are stored for longer periods of time, disinfect again before inserting your lenses.
Rinse your lenses with TotalCare™ or sterile saline solution and insert them into your eyes. Discard used solution and rinse the lens case with TotalCare ™ solution and allow to air dry.

Weekly Protein Remover
Protein from your tears can build up on your contact lenses during normal wear.
This protein build up can make lenses uncomfortable and reduce vision.
A weekly programme using TotalCare ™ protein remover tablets will help keep your lenses at their best and allow daily disinfection and protein removal to be carried out in one simple step. Your practitioner will advice if protein removal is required.
After cleaning your lenses as described in the daily routine, add one TotalCare™ protein remover tablet to the lens case filled with TotalCare™ solution and close it.
Allow your lenses to soak for at least 6 hours but no longer than 12 hours in the solution containing the TotalCare™ protein remover tablet.
After using TotalCare™ protein remover tablets, always rub and rinse your lenses thoroughly with TotalCare™ saline solution before putting them into your eyes. Rinse the lens case with TotalCare™ solution and allow to dry.

PRECAUTIONS
All instructions must be followed. Failure to do so may result in serious eye infection or injury.

General
Do not use any of these products if you are allergic to any of their contents.
Do not use tablets that are soft, sticky or irregular in appearance.
If eye irritation occurs discontinue lens wear and consult your contact lens practitioner.
Do not use if tamper evident seal is broken or missing.

Use
The TotalCare™ system is not intended for use with soft contact lens.
Always use fresh solution.
Do not use after the expiry date.
Do not insert lens directly into the eye from the TotalCare™protein remover solution or TotalCare™ Daily Cleaner or put these solutions directly into your eye. Should this happen, remove the lens immediately and rinse the eye with water.
To avoid contamination, do not touch dropper tips on any surface.
Do not rinse your lenses or lens case with tap water.

Storage
Store all components of the TOTAL CARE™ system in a dry place and at room temperature.
Close the bottles tightly immediately after use.
Keep out of reach of children.

Discard
Discard any remaining solution 60 days after first opening the bottle.
