Miller's Restaurant

Miller's has been an exciting establishment in Prince Albert for a number of years.  Under new management since September 2009, the menu is decidedly home-style cooking with flair.  The emphasis is on home-grown and home resourced.

We are open from Wednesday evening through to Sunday Lunch.  Our evenings, from 7:00pm have a changing menu sensitive to the seasons and fickle tastes, of both locals and visitors.  Expect curries and oxtail in winter and lighter Mediterranean and Oriental style dishes during summer, all reflecting our Karoo location.

Our Sunday lunch is from 1:00pm.  Weather permitting, tables can be found scattered on the stoep and in the garden.  Insiders know to book these tables well in advance.  We provide a three course set menu, with a choice of two roasts, Karoo lamb and herb stuffed chicken, being the most popular.  The starter and dessert are ever changing and this represents wonderful value on a Sunday.  Latecomers have been known to accept the slim pickings.

We are licensed and have worked hard to produce a contemporary wine list.  For those who think otherwise there is corkage.  We feature the local wine of Bergwater Cellars from the Prince Albert Valley and the best of the Cape's small but popular wine makers.

Situated at the southern approach to town, at the foothills of the mighty Swartberg, this restaurant nestles opposite the historic 150 year old Albert's Mill.  From the centre of town it is a short drive to this delightful culinary experience.

Bookings are recommended for you and helpful for us.
