St John's Flower Festival
October 2010
The theme this year
is St Francis of Assissi. The Victorian Church
is open all day Saturday for visitors to view the flowers and spend some time
listening to gentle music. At 10.00am on Sunday Morning Prayer service is held. See the harmonium installed to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond
Jubilee! You can also take a walk in their labyrinth.
Remember to pop into
the Museum to see the copy of His Royal Highness' collected speeches, sent to
the village by Queen Victoria and inscribed by Her Majesty.

Prince Albert Harvest Festival
21 November 2009
Join the people of Prince Albert as they celebrate
their bountiful harvest. The Harvest Festival will be a larger
version of the weekly Saturday Morning Market with lots of fresh fruit
(apricots, plums, nectarines, cherries, strawberries) in season and other local produce
including jams, preserves, olives, olive oil, freshly baked bread and
organically grown vegetables.
Time: 08h00 - 14h00

Leeu Gamka Nursery Open Day
September 2009
The
2008 event included a Bonzai
demonstration by Dominee Org Swanepoel followed by a beadwork
demonstration by Chrissie Esterhuyse of Krea Koup which included a pack
of beads so guests could make their own creations. Refreshments
were served.
