Meerlust Estate Meerlust Estate (a Historical Monument) is one of the oldest and architecturally most magnificent estates of the Cape. Restoration has been immaculate from the farm’s ancient private cemetery to the pristine, pillared homestead and the fluid plaster curls of the old cellar. Meerlust has been the pride of the Myburgh family since 1756. Today Mr Hannes Myburgh, the present owner, continues this great family tradition. |
