- Cars must be built following the instruction manual with original Tamiya parts. All parts must be used as supplied in the box and/or cut as out-lined. Cars eligible for qualifications are TA03F, TA03RS, TA03R, TA03FS, TL01, TA01, TA02, TA02W & TA02WS.
- Only Tamiya tune-up parts from those listed below may be used. Aluminium hop-up parts are not permitted
- Only 1400, 1500 1700 or 2000mah standard stick batteries are permitted (No VIS packs allowed). Batteries handed out with Tamiya plug at Nationals cannot be modified. If needed, a connector can be made up to accommodate battery and speed control.
- Radios must be crystal changeable. A third crystal should be available.
- Only Standard 540 Motors are allowed. Any attempt to modify or to influence the ability of the motor is not allowed.
- Any electronic speed controller is permitted.
- Any Tamiya radial, slick or semi-slick tyres are permitted. No tyre additive is allowed.
- Ball Bearings can be fitted (standard or open).
- Any Tamiya plastic oil damper will be permitted
- 53342 Speed Tuned Gear Set is allowed for TL01.
- 53127 Speed Tuned Gear Set is allowed for TA01 and TA02.
- Cars to use Tamiya bodies only
- Pinions permitted for TA01, TA02 and TA03 are up to 25 tooth 42 pitch Tamiya only
- Pinions permitted for TL01 are up to 23 tooth 42 pitch only
- Only Tamiya rims will be permitted
- 53300 Turnbuckle Tie-rod and 53345 Toe-In Rear Uprights are permitted on TL01 cars
- Car does not have to be equipped with cockpit detail and a driver figure. Modifications that destroy the form of the original car are not allowed.
- Minimum weight of car ready to run to be 1,500g.
- Each race will be of 5 minutes duration plus the time to complete the last lap.
- Any Modifications not described in the regulations are not allowed.
- Any other issues not clarified in the regulations shall be handled at the discretion of the race organiser.
