The 11th World Championship will be held in France, Courville from the 1st to the 9th of August 1998. Registration will start on the 30th of July in Courville. Three participants in each class are allowed to enter in the World Championship from each country.
The Team will be departing from South Africa (Johannesburg International Airport) on the 26th of July at 21:55. They will be flying on British Airways flight BA 054.

Colin Baldwin will be taking 2 boats over to the championships. A Class - PICCO 21 engine in Tempest hull C Class - PICCO 90 engine in a Tornado hull
Willie Vorster will be taking 1 boat over to the championships. B Class - CMB 45 engine in a Vortex hull
Tienie de Jager will be taking 1 boat over to the championships. C Class - CMB 90 engine in a Tornado hull
Tony Kockott will be taking 1 boat over to the championships. B Class - CMB 45 engine in a Vortex hull
