Results of the 1998 Nationals In Cape Town

The Nationals in Cape Town on the Brinks Dam was held over the Easter week end and there was plenty of action over the 3 days racing. Everyone was trying their utmost to get that first place. I will just give you the final results for now with more to follow shortly

The results are as follows

A CLASS 1st Place - David Farber 2nd Place - Eleanor Farber 3rd Place - Carlos Neves

B CLASS 1st Place - Willie Voster 2nd Place - Herman Lerm 3rd Place - Gary Baldwin

C CLASS 1st Place - Gary Baldwin 2nd Place - Colin Baldwin 3rd Place - Frans van der Merwe

JUNIORS 1st Place - Juan Bierman 2nd Place - Warrick & Adrian Kockott 3rd Place - Riaan Bierman

From the results of the 1997 nationals and the results of this years Nationals the final team is selected for the 1998 World Championships in France and they are as follows:

A CLASS 1st Place - Gary Baldwin 2nd Place - Colin Baldwin 3rd Place - David Farber

B CLASS 1st Place - Herman Lerm 2nd Place - Gary Baldwin 3rd Place - Willie Voster

C CLASS 1st Place - Gary Baldwin 2nd Place - Colin Baldwin 3rd Place - Nick Mitchell

The above Team will represent South Africa in the World Championship in France. The event will be taking place from the 1st to the 9th of August 1998. Three participants in each class are allowed to enter in the World Championship from each country.
