National Championship Results 2000
This years South African Championships that took place over the Easter weekend really had a lot of tight challenges in the C class category making a split decision in the final qualification. It was great racing and also well controlled. The program that was used really worked well giving everyone time to prepare, race and even relax. . The Riebeeck lake venue was a fantastic venue but we all experience lots of dirt in the water which made this Nationals very expensive for many boaters as they ended up breaking props, motors and boats. Unfortunately this cannot be afforded again.
This year was also the Final year to select the 2000 South African Team that will represent this Country in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in Slovenje this year.
