After long discussions at the above meeting, it was decided
that SAMPBA constitution and the existing structure will not change.
Affiliation to SAMPBA will remain a provincial issue and boaters can only
affiliate to SAMPBA via their provincial association.
On club level it was decided that one venue like NEMA may have
more than one group of boaters using the venue. Each group will clean the
venue for its use prior to race day. Each group undertakes to clean up after
the day's racing.
At present it was decided that the F1 group may use the venue
for practice on the last weekend of each month and may use the venue on the
first weekend of each month for racing. Similarly the FSR boaters will use the
venue on the second weekend of the month for practice and race on the third
weekend of the month. This does not mean that the practice weekends can not be
used for racedays.
Each group will do their own administration.
a Boater may belong to both groups.
