Belgium trip June 2001

Well Willie was our man to represent us in the Belgium friendship regatta and I am sure he really enjoyed it.  Willie went over with his B and C class boats and was ready to give it his best.

In the start with some bad weather to contend with it was not looking too good and the qualification laps were not high at all. But at the end Willie made the final in the B class and ended 3rd in the final which is great. Take a look at some pics.

	This picture is taken from pit buoy 1 looking back at the starting jetty just before the start of a race. Nice smooth water on the final.
Just a view of their new counter system for the public to see what is happening as the race progresses.

This is costa`s Boat as we all know it.
	Willies B boat as he raced it in the last worlds. Some small changes I am sure.
