TANDEM PARAGLIDING

paraglide.jpg (6531 bytes)Paragliding is as close to flying as you can get and a tandem flight is the perfect way to enjoy your first flying experience.

As a passenger you merely have to run a few short meters, during the take off. The wind will catch the chute, and off you go, higher and higher, soaring with the birds over the coast. You can take photographs, shout for joy or just sit back and relax in the comfortable foam harness while you enjoy the view.

Your instructor will show you how they read the thermals and direction of the wind to control their height and navigation.

All you need is a sturdy pair of shoes and warm clothing. No experience is required, as you will be fully briefed before take-off.

The flight lasts for between 10 to 35 minutes, depending on wind conditions. The instructors all love flying so be assured that they will extend your flight for as long as possible. The pilots will not fly if the weather conditions are not favorable.

Flights are scheduled daily, weather dependant and cost R450 per person, per flight.

Paragliding & Skydiving

PARAGLIDING

This is what as free as a bird really means.
Descend Lions head securely attached to your Tandem Master for the flight of a lifetime to land perfectly at the beach. See the beauty of the beaches along Clifton and Camps Bay the way the gulls see it soaring high above.

SKYDIVING

You are securely attached to your qualified Tandem Instructor. The green light goes on at 9500ft. You launch out into the blue for a 30 second freefall. Weightlessly you glide down to the earth far below. Your canopy opens and you descend safely down to earth.
This is what life is about!

News: The Chapmans route is closed due to rock slides.
