Be prepared to get dirty, dusty
and possibly even wet, as we abseil down into the ground, crawl and wriggle through tiny
spaces, entering into a world of darkness, to explore the caves.
Each person will be issued with
overalls and a headlamp before we head off on a short hike up to the caves. You will be
lowered down through a small hole in the ground into darkness and eerie silence of the
cavern below. Once at the bottom, your headlamp lights the way through the caves as you
adjust to this new environment and crawl, twist and wriggle your way out, through the tiny
gaps towards the slither of light at the end of the tunnel.
We visit several caves during
the day, each with something different to offer the adventurer, including 15 & 30
metre abseils, amazing views, spectacular rock formations, bats and other strange cave
life.
