SARDINE RUN

Experience the phenomena of the sardine run along the wildcoast of South Africa.
Tagged as the “biggest shoal on earth,”
this annual spectacular creates an enormous feeding frenzy of
sharks, game fish, dolphins and sea birds.

BASED out of Port edward

(Just before the Transkei Boarder)

DATES: Saturday 15 - Tuesday 18th June (Includes Monday public Holiday)

3 nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and 3 days at sea.
Based on a minimum of 8 divers.
Arrival on Saturday 15th, relax by the pool, in the bar or restuarant and prepare for Sundays launch.
Enjoy 3 days out at sea, and depart on Tuesday
The River Lodge is at the foot of a hill, right on the banks of the river
in a sub-tropical garden. Sundeck, pool and braai area, thatched pub, dinging area,
fully licenced. All bedrooms are ensuite, double beds, with bunks available. 7km from
the main beach and Casino, and 800m from the river mouth.

Juan will be our skipper and he will actually be out at sea for the previous week

Sardine spotting and diving so will have the exact reference points!
Port Edward will be a hive of activity for the Month of June with loads of Sight See'ers, boat watchers and divers...

The sea will be alive with sardines, sea birds, dophins, whales and sharks..... now wonder its called The Greatest Shoal on Earth!
