Location

As regards location and proximity to the sea, the lodge is nestled against the mountain in Capri Village where Eagle Owls nest, birds abound, and other small creatures scurry back and forth. It overlooks the Noordhoek amphitheatre and is within a five minute DRIVE to Fish Hoek beach, Kommetjie, Noordhoek and Simonstown, five minutes from the nearest shops, and 30 minutes from Cape Town. Miller's Point with it's lovely penguin colony, is a short 10 minute drive, and in the opposite direction is the scenic Chapman's Peak drive into Hout Bay. There are horse riding facilities close by and guests are able to ride on the lovely Noordhoek beach, the whales frolic five minutes away at Fish Hoek, and there are wonderful scenic walks within a five minute drive from the lodge. Close by are a number of popular surfing and fishing spots. As we are a short distance from town and transport a car is essential.

General

Both of our facilities have proved to be very popular with overseas and local tourists due to being in a central position for visiting all the popular places of interest and at the same time having a country atmosphere. We have ample parking within the fenced property which is secured by electronic gates (though this area has proved thus far to be very safe). The standards at the lodge are very high - we make every effort to ensure that our guests enjoy their stay. All linen is supplied but guests are requested to bring their own towels for swimming and the beach. We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards subject to a 6% handling fee.

Guests may book in between 2-6 p.m. and rooms are to be vacated by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. Should your travel arrangements not fit in with these times please let us know and we will do our best to fit in with any special arrival and departure times. Our ability to oblige is dependant on the movement of other guests at the lodge but we aim to please!
