What Lanzelle does when she's NOT on irc

Lanz likes to read books by:
  1. Terry Prachett
Terry writes the infamous "discworld novels" where the wonderdog "gaspode" appears. My favourite character is the librarian (ook?). Nanny Ogg isn't bad too. L-Space is an interesting site to check out if you are a discworld enthusiast. The Watch House is dedicated to the fellows/ladies(werewolves?)/zombies/dwarfs(by adoption?)/trolls/gargoyles etc in the AM watch.

  2. The late Erma Bombeck

Erma was an american humourist and wrote best sellers like:
    • Aunt Erma's Cope Book
    • If life is a bowl of cherries, why am I always in the pits
    • Motherhood - the second oldest profession
    • Just wait till you have children of your own
    • If you look like your passport photo..it's time to go home

  3. Douglas Adams

Douglas is the author of the Hitchiker's guide to the Galaxy trilogy in Four Parts. Visit the The Douglas Adams Worship Page .

Movies

Lanzelle enjoys romantic comedies like "French Kiss" (and that is NOT only because my favourite actress starred in it!) "Sabrina" is a close second to "French Kiss". Don't ask me why both have a french theme to it.. I really don't know.

I also like drama's like "Running on empty" and some action movies. Walt Disney animation features are a big hit as well, my favourites being "Beauty and the Beast"and "Alladdin" which combines humour, wit and fabulous voice characterization. Meg Ryan was the voice for "Anastasia", which made that movie pretty special for me.

Prince of Egypt was very good, great animation. I missed "a bug's life", but "Antz" was beautiful and doesn't that princess remind you of Sharon Stone?

The movies I want to see is on video is "The deep end of the ocean","Forces of Nature" and "The matrix", seeing that I've missed them too.

The only movie genre I shall seriously avoid is.. THE THRILLER!!!!

Linda is..you've guested it- a member of the Sterkinekor movie club.
