Meals

Central to your stay at the Retreat is the Karoo kitchen where food, philosophies and kindness are shared. Our accent is on nurturing the person as a whole and not on an apple a day or tipping the scales!

We encourage you to be mindfully focused on what you are eating, how you eat and why you are eating. Food is as much a part of our well-being as the state of mind we are in when are eating - be it carrot juice, a fruit and yoghurt whisk, a lovely salad or a traditional meal.

Dietary needs and preferences are taken into consideration within the framework of our small village availability. Meals can take on the form of traditional Karoo style cooking to vegetarian.
