The  duration  of  this  drive  can  vary  from  between 1 hour to 5 hours 

depending on  your  needs.  

The cost of this drive is R 280 per vehicle.  Refreshments available.

SUNSET GAME DRIVES

The duration of this drive is approximately 2 hours and includes Sundowners  ( refreshments available ) at R 180 per vehicle.  Watch the spectacular Karoo sunset in the open veld while enjoying your Sundowner.

Other side trips that we offer include the following:

  • A half-day trip to Graaff Reinet  R 800 per vehicle seating 2 to 4 people.  Includes visit to this town includes the Reinet House, a craft shop, a beautiful old church and lunch at a quaint little restaurant. An optional extra is a visit to  the Valley of Desolation in the Karoo Nature Reserve at  R 100. A visit to the to the only distillery in the world outside Mexico that produces the Agave spirit can be arranged by appointment.

  • A half-day trip is offered to the Owl House at Nieu Bethesda or the famous Rubidge Fossil collection en route to Graaff Reinet.  The Owl House  has a unique and unusual collection of owl statuettes.  The Wellwood farm is the home of the late Dr. Sidney Rubidge and houses the world renowned collection of prehistoric Karoo reptiles.  Both these trips depend on the making of a pre-arranged appointment.  The cost is R600 / trip, per vehicle seating 2 to 4 people including lunch.  Should you wish to combine these two, and then the cost will be R 900 per vehicle.
