EASTERN CAPE MISSION MOBILIZERS NETWORK

VISION STATEMENT

Forming a united effort in seeing the local church mobilized, to become all God has intended for it to be, in reflecting God’s heart for the whole world.

   

DEFINITION OF MOBILIZATION

Mobilization is the process whereby the local church gains a clear understanding of their role in God’s mission that will empower their members to move into action.

   

DEFINITION OF A MOBILIZER

A MOBILIZER is a person that is committed to serving the church in the process of mobilizing all key resources in the local church for God’s mission, through building strong relationships and networking with others.

   

THE PURPOSE OF THE RSA MISSION MOBILIZERS NETWORK

1.       To explore new mission mobilization initiatives (pro-active)

          Process  -  Definition  -  Vision  -  Who can help the process?  -  Resources -             Models

2.       To share resources, experiences and expertise

3.       To discuss the latest trends and developments in mission mobilization

4.       To develop new material to excel in the mobilization process

5.       To build trustworthy relationships

6.       To hear and learn from one another (networking)

7.       To hear from the Lord

8.       To provide orientation/training for mobilizers

9.       To provide a forum for honest expression & discussion

10.     To identify areas of tension, overlap & duplication

11.     To strategically observe the process of mobilization in general

12.     To pray together and encourage each other

13.          Developing new models suitable for the multicultural setting in South

          Africa

14.     To adhere to give expression to our core values

15.     To serve the process of mobilization
