Statement
I am an Afrikaans
-speaking Christian male, with 5 grown up children. It is my intention
to give honest, reliable & efficient service to all customers
- irrespective of race, gender or religion. My highest qualification
is a BCOM degree with majors in Accountancy, Business Economics
& Economics. I also attained the following subjects namely Cost
Accounting & Income Tax. Besides my BCOM degree I have also
a Teachers Higher Grade Diploma.
My experience includes service at High school as an accountancy
teacher for approximately 10 years, and service at a firm of chartered
accountants as an accountant for 7 years. At present I am running
my own accounting and computer training business, for the past 10
years. I am specialising in small business doing recording of financial
transactions in the books of account up to financial statements,
vat calculations, IRP5 & PAYE.
I also do personal tax computations. I do sole traders, partnerships,
trusts and regarding close corporations I do all the work including
the financial statements at competitive rates with a chartered accountant
signing my work off. Accounting work is done in Pastel while Financial
Statements is done in Excel. Regarding my computer training I specialise
in short crash courses concentrating on up to date Pastel training.
I also present an introductory course in Accountancy, to assist
specially pupils who need an accounting background for Pastel training.
