Kathy's Story

hi, I have never done this before, but I will try to write down a little about myself,  - and I am not brave, believe me - the only reason I sent the pic is because I blacked my face out.

I had this pic taken, and did not know how terrible my hair would look, thank goodness it was my camera and I got the film developed so I could steal it out. I can't believe I am actually showing anybody this pic, but figured if anybody was going to see it it may as well be people that know what I am going through.

My name is Kathy and I am 26 years old. I have been pulling since I was approximately ten years old, maybe a little before then. My hair has gotten progressively worse as time went on, I pull the most when I am stressed, which is all the time. It has also become more habitual for me to pull, sometimes I do not even realize my hand is to my head until I have pulled. Other times I catch myself and do not know why
my hand went to my head. I have only been trying to stop for the past two weeks, when I found the BB and Amanda's site, plus the fact that it has a name and I am not the only one! I do not wear a wig, and went through agony in high school, and my hair wasn't even as bad as it is now. This is the worse my hair has ever been.
