Detailed Instructions

Following is a detailed description of what happens when a visitor to this Web page clicks on a BeeLink image.

Note: BeeLink works best when "cookies" are enabled in web browsers. BeeLink relies on "cookies" to identify BeeCall users.

When a person registers for BeeCall, the BeeCall Web site attempts to download a cookie (a tiny software file) onto their PC so they can hear BeeLink greetings.

BeeLink recognizes whether visitors are BeeCall users or have downloaded the BeeCall cookie.

If the Web page visitor has BeeCall installed and running, and has a BeeCall cookie:

1. The visitor clicks on your BeeLink.

2. The BeeCall System finds the visitor's cookie, which verifies that they have BeeCall and provides their User ID.

3. A pop-up window tells the visitor that they will soon receive a voice greeting from your Web page.

4. The visitor clicks on the Listen button on their BeeCaller to hear your voice greeting.

5. The visitor can click "reply" to leave you an Instant voice message.

6. You can reply back to the visitor right away or later on. Incoming messages will be stored by the BeeCall System and delivered to you the next time you go online.

If your Web page visitor has BeeCall installed and running, but does NOT have a BeeCall cookie:

1. The visitor clicks on BeeLink.

2. The BeeCall System looks for their cookie but can’t find one. This means the visitor doesn’t have BeeCall or that they have their browser set to not accept cookies.

3. A pop-up window informs the visitor know that the BeeCall System could not find a cookie. The visitor is then asked to input their BeeCall User ID if they already have BeeCall, or to download and register for BeeCall if they yet to do so.

4. A pop-up window tells the visitor that they will soon receive a voice greeting from your Web page.

5. The visitor clicks on the Listen button on their BeeCaller to hear your voice greeting.

6. The visitor can click "reply" to leave you an Instant voice message.

7. You can reply back to the visitor right away or later on. Incoming messages will be stored by the BeeCall System and delivered to you the next time you go online.

If your Web page visitor does not have BeeCall installed or running:

1. The visitor clicks on the BeeLink.

2. The BeeCall System looks for their cookie but can’t find one. This means that the visitor doesn’t have BeeCall or that they have their browser set to not accept cookies.

3. A pop-up window informs the visitor that the BeeCall Service could not find a cookie. The visitor is then asked to input their User ID if they already have BeeCall, or to download and register for BeeCall if they have yet to do so.

4. In this case, the visitor does not have BeeCall, so they choose to download BeeCall. Since BeeCall is so small (around 150K bytes) the visitor will be up and running with BeeCall in less than a minute!

5. When the visitor returns to your Web page, a pop-up window tells them that they will soon receive a voice greeting from your Web page.

6. The visitor clicks on the Listen button on their BeeCaller to hear your voice greeting

7. The visitor can click "reply" to leave you an Instant voice message.

8. You can reply back to the visitor right away or later on. Incoming messages will be stored by the BeeCall System and delivered to you the next time you go online.
