Matrix
"What if you were unable to wake from that dream, how would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world..." "What is the Matrix? Joel Silver, Producer of Matrix, gives us his perspective on making the movie..."It really is the film of the century, it is action elements, characters, its look, its visual style - is really spectacular. There are some effects that are not ground breaking but simply so in that the brothers use them as design threats throughout the picture. What is the Matrix? Well my character feels that the answer to that question will some how answer the Question to his life.. .."Says Keanu Reeves, played as Neo"
Good Kung-fu,....Very Good Master ! These scenes required dynamic camera movement around slow motion events that approached 12,000 frames per second, a far cry from the usual 24 frames, and so¼ bullet-time photography is born. Joe Silver continues.."I Think it is the most beautiful and spectacular stunt stuff I have ever been involved in, it is really incredible ideas and the style and visual effects in these action scenes have never been seen before we pioneered new techniques and new fighting styles and new photographic. We were doing photographic, that six months ago were not possible".
It is man and technology gone haywire, giving birth to more technology that pushes it past the point that man, supposedly, would never, morally or ethically, go beyond. Nobody has ever gone this far.
Carri-Anne Moss Continues about the part she played.."The thing that I loved about Trinity was, that I portrayed someone who is really strong, who has a real mission and a real purpose. It wasn't like I was playing this hard mean tough angry women but playing a women who has a job to do and will do anything to get this done."
This is the new frontier. The boundaries in the last few years were about creatures like dinosaurs, which have done very well. Creating more imaginative creatures and synthetic humans with the aid of computer artistes is still to be tested to it's fullest, a feat which the cast and crew of "The Matrix" can be especially proud of. |
