Greg Melvill-Smith with a new Motorola V-Series Greg
The new V-Series Motorola, Stephen tell us about it!

Stephen
We are very excited about this phone it is the smallest lightest GSM Dual Band phone now in South Africa. We have high beliefs in the phone, it is 83 grams, it is a dual band phone which means that it works on nine hundred and eighteen hundred frequency and it has an array of exciting features.

Greg
What special features will you find on the phone?

Size does matter... Craig
Let me summaries and go straight to the key features. The phone is small, its design is a clam shape format, it slips in and out of your pocket. It has quick access buttons which will allow you to go to the personality set up of the phone that you want to access. We dial straight into the phones quick access menu, you can scroll across icons and set it up to the way you would use the phone.

In addition to that we have the vital call feature on this phone so if your in a meeting and you don't want to be disturbed but yet you want to know if you are getting a call coming in, you set the phone to vibrate, it is a very discreet way of dealing with your phone and not letting it ring and embarrassing yourself.

The large 'Optimax' display You can immediately access your telephone book and scroll through your telephone book. This phone also has a large "optimist" display which is great, it has back lighting so when your driving at night the visibility is great and you can see all your numbers. The phone has what we call enhanced full rate ear ...?. which simply means you will have better quality when using this phone.

It has a PC Card built into the phone and is usable with your computer to access your e-mail or to send messages, so it has full fax and data capabilities.

Greg
Stephen what kind of price are we looking at and where is it available?

Stephen
The phone is about R4000. And that is without a contract. If you are getting a contract or an upgrade, then the phone will be substantially less.

Greg
