Writing Affirmations
How to put the guidelines into practice:
Question:
What are the benefits of writing my affirmations out on paper?
Answer:
- When we write out our affirmations it impresses the mind with our intent to have the desired outcome manifest.
Plan of Action:
- Set aside 15 minutes each day to write out your affirmations.
- Take a journal, any size and divide the page in half. Title the left hand column "My Affirmation", and the right hand column, "My Responses".
- Decide on an affirmation you would like to work on.
- Begin by writing your affirmation in the left hand.
- As you write, write with intent and concentration.
- As you begin to write, you may find resistance coming up for you. Record these resistances/thoughts in the right hand column.
- Continue writing until you have no more resistance coming up.
- Continue with your next affirmation - follow steps 3 - 7.
You may do as many affirmations has time will allow.
